Business Information Security Officer

Your role We are looking for a structured and relationship-driven Business Information Security Officer to join Business Area Surveillance. As a Business Information Security Officer, you will act as the information security partner within the business, driving the practical implementation of the Security Management System (SMS). You will work closely with business units and security colleagues to ensure that security requirements are integrated into daily operations in a way that supports both compliance and business objectives. A key part of the role is enabling secure ways of working and helping the organization manage information efficiently and responsibly. Your main tasks will be: Integrate the Security Management System (SMS) into business operations and align security with business needs. Develop practical solutions for secure information handling and communication. Support business units in implementing information security requirements effectively. Promote a strong security culture through awareness, engagement, and education. Represent business needs within the Information and Cyber Security organization. Act as the main point of contact for information security guidance and support. Coordinate local information security incident investigations and remediation activities. Translate security risks and requirements into clear business-focused recommendations. Preferred locations for this role are Solna/Stockholm or Kallebäck/Göteborg. Finally, you must have a mature understanding of "balanced security" - the ability to implement robust security measures that enable, rather than hinder, a business-driven environment. Required skills: University degree and/or relevant experience in information security, IT security, risk management, or a related field. Strong knowledge of information security principles and frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST 800-171, protective security and COMSEC. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to balance security requirements with operational efficiency and business objectives. Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
